It's almost every baby-Jetsetter's dream to fly and JetLev Technologies has made this dream a reality. This personal flight is comprised of a water-power packed jet. Similar to the power of a Jetski, the jet propulsion system uses water from hose tethered to the fuel source and controlled by throttle, flight control, and flyer body commands.

It is intense, powerful and precision driven. The flyer will have full control of their flight including height and direction while staff members are nearby on Jetski's, communicating with the flier via state of the art headphones. Locked into a floatation backpack/chair, the flyer has the ability to utilize right and left handlebars to move up or down, while turning their head right or left to change course. The handlebars are extraordinarily sensitive: raising them by an inch will cause the flyer to gain a foot or two of vertical height.

Unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show, this ultra-lux vehicle carries a price tag of $2.09 million (€1.58 million). Like the madness which surrounds the most powerful engine in a sports car, there is a corresponding desire within the company to make it even more robust than its already existing form. Offering a 987 HP output power from the 8-liter W16 machine, the Grand Sport Year of the Dragon Bugatti can now declare far and wide, about an optimum speed of over 400 km/ph. All of this gets even freakier when considering that the car is open-top and one would get to experience the speed thrill without the hood!

As Aston Martin reconsiders its AMR-One LMP1 sports car racing project, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s new AMVOX5 World Chronograph LMP1 ($20,900) continues waving the green flag. Engineered with an easy-to-read, highly accurate chronograph paired with a world time function, the 250-piece limited edition is the latest model to emerge from the seven-year collaboration. Legibility was a priority for designers, who positioned two carbon fiber chronograph counters tracking hours and minutes at 3 and 9 o’clock, while seconds are counted off with a central hand. The dial, which evokes the air-vent grilles on the Aston Martin LMP1 prototypes, is highlighted with a Gulf Oil color scheme of orange and blue. And playing off the cars’ extreme technical features, the case is composed of robust high-tech ceramic mixed with zirconium and yttrium, which is subjected to heat and pressure to yield a material so hard that it can only be shaped with special diamond-tipped tools. Designed by Marc Newson, Qantas Airlines First Class suite is absolutely marvelous. The interior is comprised of touch panels, sheepskin-covered full-length beds, plants, leather seating and over 1,000 videos of choice.

The suite is available for Jetsetter Lifestyle Lovers to relax, stretch their feet and perhaps, sit down for a drink. According to the Qantas website, the planes are being introduced progressively with the latest flight schedule being Sydney to Hong Kong beginning Jan. 15.

Porsche debuts 3 new models

Porsche has confirmed the launch of three new models ahead of its appearance at the Detroit Auto Show. Visitors to the show will see the 911 Cabrio for the first time. It will hit showrooms a few months after the Coupé variant of the 911 went on sale in February. Pricing is unannounced, but the vehicle is believed to boast a 3.8-liter V6 engine producing 294kW of power, with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The US is Porsche’s biggest market for drop-top 911s, and despite the economic uncertainty, American luxury-lovers are still buying the automaker’s high-priced models — sales are expected to push past 30,000 this year from 29,000 in 2011. That healthy sales growth will no doubt be helped by excitement over two other models confirmed by Porsche January 4, both of which are eagerly awaited by fans. The first, a diesel version of the Cayenne, will see yet another version of Porsche’s best-selling model become available later this year, the first compression-ignition car to be offered by Porsche on the continent.
