• Arrival in Arusha where you will be met by our representative before being whisked away to your hotel. After the check-in formalities you can take the time to adjust to the climate and local time while enjoying the comforts of your hotel.

Behold the mighty Serengeti

• In the morning you’ll fly to the Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its huge herds of animals grazing the savanna plains. After a wonderful lunch and getting settled in the lodge, you’ll go on your first afternoon safari experience (or game drive as they like to call it).  Your guide, who’s also your driver, will explain everything there is to know about the different animal species you encounter, but equally the different plants you’ll see along the way as they each have their own story to tell.

Spot the Big 5

• Today you’ll enjoy 2 game drives (one in the morning and one in the late afternoon) in the vast Serengeti National Park. Irrelevant of the season, there’s always a lot going on in this unique location where the animals are still roaming free and careless. It’s one of the few areas in the wild where you can spot the big 5 (leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo and lion) and your guide knows the best places to look for them during the specific seasons throughout the year. The park is known as the last place on earth to witness the great migration, but with such a vast amount of wildlife you’ll feel like you stepped into another world in which you can experience amazing encounters at any given moment.

Once-in-a-lifetime sunrise

• After an early wake-up you’ll depart at 4:30 am to the launch site of your hot air balloon safari. Witness the sun rise over the mighty Serengeti while enjoying the majestic landscape below in which you might spot some of the wildlife. After this memorable experience you’ll enjoy a sumptuous champagne breakfast in the heart of the wilderness before you set off for your morning game drive. After a relaxing midday at the lodge and a fruitful afternoon game drive you’ll enjoy a bush dinner in a stunning setting, lit by millions of stars and accompanied by a warming bonfire.

Walking in the wild

• Start the day in a more relaxed way by taking the time to enjoy the sounds and smells of the savannah in the morning before heading to breakfast. Today you’ll venture out on a guided walking safari in the late morning/early afternoon. This experience will give you an amazing adrenaline rush as you silently walk through the open plains trying to spot some of the elusive wildlife outside the comfort of your jeep. It makes you feel very connected to nature and as your senses instantly become more sensitive, you’ll become much more in sync with your surroundings.
